'Chicago P.D.' Nabs 'The Flash' Vet for Recurring Role (Exclusive)

Chicago P.D. is getting a visit from the DC Universe.

Clancy Brown, who appears on The Flash as General Wade Eiling, has nabbed a recurring role on the NBC cop drama,The Hollywood Reporter has learned. 

Brown will play Eddie Little, an inmate who Voight (Jason Beghe) met when he was incarcerated and whom Voight now uses for information.

Brown will make his debut in the season three premiere. He joins recurring guest star Markie Post, whom producers recently revealed will reprise her role as Lindsay's mom this coming season.

In addition to his screen credits, which include Sleepy Hollow, ER, The Shawshank Redemption and the upcoming films Warcraft and Hail, Caesar!, Brown is a prolific voice actor known for his work as Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob SquarePants. He is repped by ICM and Pop Art Management.

Season three of Chicago P.D. premieres Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
