Christian Slater to Co-Star in ABC's Kyle Killen Drama 'Influence'
He'll play Steve Zahn's brother in the pilot from the creator of "Awake."
Christian Slater is heading back to primetime.
The actor, who starred on Fox's twice-canceled Breaking In, has joined the cast of ABC's Kyle Killen drama Influence, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The provocative workplace ensemble centers on the complicated relationship between two brothers (Treme's Steve Zahn, Slater) who head a unique agency designed to attack their clients' problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation.
Slater will play Ross, the brother to Zahn's Clark. Ross is described as a brilliant schemer, fresh out of prison following a two-year term for fraud. Filled with ideas, the high-wired and charmingly persuasive Ross has a business model he believes can make him and his team millions.

Awake creator Killen will pen the pilot and executive produce the 20th Television drama alongside Keith Redmon. Miguel Sapochnik will direct the pilot, which also stars Megalyn Echikunwoke, Cedric Sanders and Gregory Marcel.
For Slater, the casting re-teams him with Breaking In producer 20th Television and ABC, for whom he starred on the short-lived drama The Forgotten. Slater, whose credits also include Hatfields and McCoys: Bad Blood and True Romance, is repped by UTA and Markham Froggatt.
