Cinemax Renews 'Strike Back' for Third Season
10:08 AM PDT 10/3/2012 by Michael O'Connell
The co-production with the UK will return to the cable network with most of the creative team intact.
Strike Back will return for another round in 2013.
Cinemax announced Wednesday that the action drama, a co-production with partners Left Bank and Sky, has been renewed for a third season set to air on the stateside cable network sometime next year.
Though much of the production, direction and writing team will return for the new run, an announcement would not disclose any details about the cast: "Due to plot spoilers in upcoming episodes of season two, the cast of season three will be announced at a later date as well."
The series, which follows a British special forces unit, currently stars Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton.
Season three will film in South Africa and Hungary.
