Comedy Central Renews Nick Kroll Series
Just two weeks after opening to 1.2 million viewers, "Kroll Show" gets an order for another 10 episodes.
Comedy Central is sticking with Kroll Show.
The sketch comedy series from creator, writer and star Nick Kroll has received a pickup for a second season consisting of 10 episodes.

"Nick plays his characters with such comedic conviction, it's become obvious he has a serious personality disorder,” said network president of content development and original programming Kent Alterman. “We hope another season will help him discover who he really is."
Kroll Show opened on Jan. 16 to 1.2 million viewers in its 10:30 p.m. time slot, bolstered by a lead from network darling Workaholics (1.7 million viewers). And like Workaholics, Kroll Show has performed especially well with younger men. The series premiere won its time slot across all networks with men 18-24 and 18-34. Including encores that night, Kroll Show pulled 2.0 million total viewers, 1.6 million of them adults 18-49.
John Levenstein (Arrested Development) and Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia) join Kroll as executive producers and writers. Krisel is also directing the series. Jon Daly (Happy Endings) is supervising producer and actor, and Jim Sharp and Monika Zielinska serve as the network's executives in charge of production.
Speaking on behalf of the several personalities he adopts for the show, Kroll said "all of me are very excited."
Kroll is repped by WME, Mosaic and Schreck Rose Dapello & Adams. He also stars on FX's The League.
