Of course, she can’t say much about Hannah McKay, her character in the Showtime drama, but she shared some clues about this mystery woman while visiting The Hollywood Reporter’s exclusive Comic-Con video lounge.
“She’s a woman who has a mysterious dark past and she gets involved with Dexter because she is called to help with an investigation,” she told THR.
When asked if here was any romance in her character’s future, she said, “There may or may not be any romance in her future.”
Strahovski said she’s only begun shooting, and has been focusing on catching up on the whole series because she’d only seen “bits and pieces of it.”
“I spent the last three weeks watching the entire six seasons back to back,” she said.

Strahovski, who has been to several Comic-Cons promoting her previous show, Chuck, said that this year is a very different.
“It’s a group thing whereas this year is very different for me, sort of going around on my own,” she said.
When THR asked her to sum up Hannah in three words, she said: “Mysterious, dark and I guess she’s kinda sexy I think too.”
Dexter premieres Sunday, Sept. 30, at 9 pm.
