Cancelation can't hold Community down.

The cult comedy is returning for a sixth season March 17 on Yahoo Screen. Two episodes will become available on the day of the 13-episode season premiere, followed by additional episodes weekly.

NBC canceled ratings-challenged Community in May, but Yahoo Screen revived the Sony Pictures Television series one month later, bringing back creator Dan Harmon and stars Joel McHale, Jim Rash, Ken Jeong, Gillian Jacobs, Allison Brie and Dani Pudi

At the time, Yahoo media head Kathy Savitt told The Hollywood Reporter that she is a Community fan and that other fans, who have long rallied behind the show on social networks Twitter and Facebook, "really impressed and inspired."

One familiar face won't be back for the sixth season. Yvette Nicole Brown announced in September that she asked to be released from her contract to take care of her ailing father. Meanwhile, Greendale Community College will welcome newcomers Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) and Keith David (Enlisted) during the upcoming season.
