'CSI' Enlists 'Greek's' Spencer Grammer, 'Nurse Jackie's' Lenny Jacobson (Exclusive)

Greek's Spencer Grammer and Nurse Jackie's Lenny Jacobson to guest star on the long-running procedural, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Grammer, whose credits also include As the World Turns, will play Ella, a pretty, intelligent, driven and ambitious field reporter.

Jacobson, who plays EMT Lenny on the Showtime dramedy, will play a somewhat off, socially awkward yet honest, innocent and likable lighting technician at the news station's studio.

They'll appear in the appropriately titled "Dead Air" episode, slated to air in January.

In addition, tennis stars Chris Evert and Olympic gold medalist Lindsay Davenport will join commentator Justin Gimelstob for a January episode, the network announced Friday.

They'll play themselves in an episode when the CSI team investigates the death of a female tennis player.
