The CW is making some changes in its reality department.

Senior vp alternative programming Kristen Connolly Vadas has exited the network as part of restructuring, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Justin Rosenblatt, who shared the position with Vadas, will now take on oversight of the department.

Vadas, a former Oxygen network executive, held the position since November 2008 and oversaw reality entries including America's Next Top Model and all new alternative fare.

Rosenblatt joined The CW as director of alternative programming in 2007 after overseeing programming and development at MTV2.

News of Vadas' departure comes a week after ABC reality chief Lisa Berger exited the network after 13 months in the position.

The reality departures speak to a larger issue in the reality space as the struggle to find the next breakout franchise has been a challenging one. Fox recently took a big swing with Utopia but ultimately struck out.

For The CW's part, the network recently renewed reality staple America's Next Top Model, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion for returns in 2015.
