'Dallas' Trailer Featuring Cast Interviews Premieres (Video)
TNT's reboot, based on the popular TV series that aired from 1978 to 1991, will premiere in Summer 2012.
A new trailer for TNT’s upcoming reboot of the popular TV series Dallas premiered, featuring interviews with the cast sharing their views about bringing back a classic show.
Based on the popular television series that aired from 1978 to 1991, the drama focuses on bitter rivalries and family power struggles within a Texas oil and cattle-ranching dynasty.

The reboot stars Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo and Brenda Strong. Joining them will be Dallas vet Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray.
The trailer not only features plenty of dramatic scenes and oil-digging moments, but also interviews with the cast, who reflect on the impact that the original show had on television.
“This show set a standard that was different than anything had been done before,” says Patrick Duffy, who returns to play Bobby Ewing.

“The audience is going to have the comfort of the familiar, but this really special chemistry of the new,” says Brenda Strong, who plays Bobby’s new wife, Ann.
Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin serve as executive producers on the Warner Horizon Television series premiering next summer and based on the show created by David Jacobs.
