'Dancing With the Stars' Premiere: What the Viewers Are Saying

Dancing with the Stars Season 13 premiered on Monday night, introducing viewers to a new set of contestants who awkwardly took to the floor for the first time.

The cast for Season 13 includes Nancy Grace, Kristin Cavallari, Chaz Bono, Ricki Lake, Carson Kressley and David Arquette.

Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo seemed to sum of the feeling of many with her tweet: “Dancing With The Stars is gonna be goood this season. I think we say goodbye to Elizabetta tomorrow.... agree?"

Overall, viewers seem to be pleasantly surprised by several performances, particularly with the performances of fashion expert Carson Kressley and Chaz Bono, the transgender son of Sonny and Cher.

“So inspired by @ChazBono 's premiere on Dancing With The Stars. He's got guts and, I'm sure, a lot of fans. I'm certainly one,” wrote Patrick Yaeger.

When the contestants for this season were first announced, there was some severe crticism for putting Bono on the show because he is transgender. However, he vowed to appear on the show despite the criticism.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fashion expert Carson Kressley also received praise from viewers, mainly because he had fun with her performance.

“Carson Kresley was the highlight of the night for me on DWTS.....I got the moves like Jagger! omg lol loved it!” wrote Lisa.

“Carson kressley on dancing with the stars. So awesome. Tears from laughing so hard,” wrote Ashley gillen.

Even one person who wasn't a fan of Kressley admitted that he was entertaining:

"I'm rooting for JR, Chynna, Hope and Ricki on DWTS. I don't want Carson to win, but he was entertaining. Who did you all like?" Erin wrote.

Many viewers threw out their predictions on who would be going home after their first performance.

“Dancing with the stars was amazing tonight. I think ron will be leaving tommorrow!! Carson, J.R., and ricki were my favorites tonight!!” wrote Brittany Coney.

“I think that Nancy Grace is going to be the first to get the ax just because she rubs a lot of ppl the wrong way,” wrote Elizabeth the Great.

Nancy Grace received a lot of harsh criticism for her outfit and her performance.

“Carson on DWTS is so funny. Nancy Grace is a disgrace on the dance floor!”

“Dear America: PLEASE do not vote off Nancy Grace from #DWTS, The Soup needs her!!!” wrote Becky Schaub.
