'Dancing With the Stars'' Chaz Bono Reveals Who He's Voting for Now
Despite getting the boot, Bono says the ABC series will "forever affect my life."
Chaz Bono is at peace with being voted off Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night.
"This experience really exceeded any expectations I had. It will probably forever affect my life," Bono said on Good Morning America Monday.

"It gave me confidence in myself that I didn't have before and a physical awareness and a knowledge I can do more than I thought I could," added Bono.
Bono -- who is transgender -- went on, "I wanted to show America a different kind of man. If there was someone like me on TV when I was a kid, my whole life would have been different."
His one complaint with the show: "If you're an overweight woman losing weight, they love you. If you're an overweight guy getting in shape, they penalize you for it."

"Look, I got a lot of references about things that would indicate I'm overweight or round," says Bono. "I was called a basketball, a penguin an ewok. I didn't appreciate it. If you're going to critique my dancing and give me constructive advice, that would be great. But I don't know how to be less penguin-esque, so I took offense with that!"
His partner Lacey Schwimmer agrees.
"It's hard to take the judges seriously when the judges are so inconsistent. We did what we needed to do and did it well and had a great time doing it. At the end of the day, that's what our job is all about."
Bono says his mom, Cher, got into the show.
"When I first told my family I was doing the show, they were a little surprised. They all got behind me when they saw how hard I was trying and pushing myself and coming out of my shell," said Bono. "It was something my mom and I could really have in common because she knows what it's like to come out and perform in front of an audience."

So now that Bono and Schwimmer are off the show, who are they rooting for? "J.R. [Martinez] for sure," says Schwimmer.
"I loved everyone on this cast, so for me it can't be about personalities. I have to pick the best dancer. For me it's always been J.R.," says Bono. "And he's a great
