STORY: Comic-Con 2011: Disney Channel's 'Phineas and Ferb' Among Scheduled Panels
Phineas and Ferb are from Disney Channel's popular animated series of the same name. The stepbrothers spend their summer building things like roller coasters and rockets out of everyday materials, while their sister continually tries to find ways to get them in trouble with their parents. Unbeknownst to the duo, their pet platypus leads a double life as a secret agent, battling an evil scientist.
The series features the voices of Vincent Martella (Phineas), Thomas Sangster (Ferb), Ashley Tisdale (Candace), Caroline Rhea (Mom), Richard O'Brien (Dad) and Dan Povenmire (Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz).
Disney Channel also is gearing up for the premiere of Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, an original movie debuting at 8 p.m. Aug. 5. The network has launched a nationwide tour featuring "Perry the Platy-Bus," a 27-foot Airstream trailer complete with bill, tail and googly eyes inspired by Phineas and Ferb's pet platypus, Perry, to promote the series and movie.
STORY: David and Victoria Beckham Welcome Baby Girl
