In a preview clip for Wednesday’s Tonight Show, Jay Leno says the scandal that brought down the former CIA director is so convoluted he doubts we’ll ever get to the bottom of it.

Luckily for Leno, the NBC show had a high school girl on hand to dish on the details as if the downfall of the four-star general were the latest gossip. The results are surprisingly succinct and -- dare we say it -- rather elucidating.

The key players include General David, his “DTF” biographer Paula, her frenemy Jill and Jill’s “FBI BFF” who has a thing for “gross shirtless photos.”
