'Dexter': Jordana Spiro Books Multiepisode Arc

She’ll play a follower of Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos' characters in the religion-themed sixth season.

Showtime’s Dexter is building up quite the religious following for Michael C. Hall’s titular character to battle this season.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Jordana Spiro has booked a multiepisode arc on the Showtime drama as a devoted follower of Colin Hanks’ Travis and Edward James Olmos’ Professor Gellar, as first reported by TV Line.

Olmos’ Gellar is a brilliant, charismatic professor of religious studies, while Hanks’ Travis will be Dexter’s central nemesis – a highly intelligent ancient artifacts expert who is linked to a series of grisly slayings in Miami.
