The network, which targets kids ages 2-7, has picked up "Sofia" and "Doc" for their third season and "Jake" for a fourth.

The network, which targets kids ages 2-7, has picked up Sofia and Doc for their third season and Jake for a fourth.
"Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Jake and the Never Land Pirates do what Disney does best -- tell great stories with humor and heart," said Nancy Kanter, executive vp original programming and general manager at Disney Junior Worldwide. "We've seen these series connect with our audience around the world and across platforms in meaningful ways, and we have many more stories to tell."
Sofia the First features the voice of Ariel Winter as the title character, Disney's first little girl princess (Tim Gunn, Wayne Brady and Sara Ramirez also voice characters on the show). Jake centers on a crew of kid pirates alongside classic Disney characters Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, while Doc is about a 6-year-old girl who runs a clinic for her stuffed animals and toys.
All three series ranked among the top 10 cable TV series in 2013 for kids ages 2-7 as well as among the top 10 preschooler cable TV series in total viewers and women 18-49. They air daily on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior, as well as around the world, and have spawned their own product lines. All three main characters also are featured in the Disney Junior Live on Stage! attraction at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Sofia and Jake are produced by Disney Television Animation. Doc is a production of Brown Bag Films in association with Disney Channel.
