Donald Trump Set for 'Late Show With Stephen Colbert' Appearance

Malala Yousafzai and Ted Cruz are among the other guests set for Colbert's third week behind the 'Late Show' desk.

Time to stash the Oreos.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will appear on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Sept. 22, CBS announced Thursday.

The news comes after Colbert skewered Trump on his first night on CBS, poking fun at Trump's stance against Nabisco and subsequently stuffing his face with one of the brand's most popular products, Oreos. (Trump has said he refuses to eat the cookie because of Nabisco's plan to move an Oreo factory to Mexico.)

Trump also is slated to appear on The Tonight Show Friday.

Fellow Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai also are slated to sit down with Colbert in his third week. The new Late Show host continues to show diversity in his lineup, mixing in politicians and CEOs along with the traditional group of A-list actors and musicians.
