Emmys: Wins by Program and Network
'Sherlock' and HBO led the way at the 66th annual Primetime Emmys
HBO and PBS' Sherlock led the way at Monday's 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
The premium cable network led the pack of nominees — with 99 nominations — while its fantasy drama Game of Thrones entered the night with a leading 19 mentions. (Thrones ultimately collected four awards on the night while Sherlock collected wins for Martin Freeman (supporting actor in a miniseries), Steven Moffat (writing for a mini) and Benedict Cumberbatch (lead actor in a mini).
The final season of Breaking Bad came in second behind Sherlock, with six total wins, including its second best drama series trophy in a row and statuettes for stars Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn and Aaron Paul.
