'Fight Club' Writer to Pen Trent Reznor's HBO Miniseries 'Year Zero' (Exclusive)
Jim Uhls will write the sci-fi series based on the 2007 Nine Inch Nails concept album.

Fight Club writer Jim Uhls has been tapped to write Trent Reznor’s HBO/BBC Worldwide Productions miniseriesYear Zero.
Based on the 2007 album by Reznor’s Nine Inch Nails, the concept recording criticizes the U.S. government -- specifically the Bush years -- and presents a dystopian vision of the year 2022. Reznor has already adapted the album into an alternate reality game.
Uhls, repped by CAA, penned the screenplay for Fight Club and Jumper.
Reznor most recently picked up the Academy Award for penning the original score, with Atticus Ross, to Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Network. He also composed the score for Sorkin’s upcoming adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
BBC Worldwide Productions is producing the epic sci-fi miniseries for HBO.
