First Look at AMC's New Drama 'Hell on Wheels' (Video)
AMC's latest original scripted series, Hell on Wheels, begins production soon in Calgary and the cable network has released the first preview.
Wheels, a Western, revolves around former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) whose quest for vengeance has led him to the Union Pacific Railroad's westward construction of the first Transcontinental Railroad. Developed by Endemol USA and produced by eOne and Nomadic Pictures, the drama was created by Joe and Tony Gayton (Faster).
Wheels also stars Common, Dominque McElligott, Colm Meaney, Ben Esler, Philip Burke and Eddie Spears. AMC will debut the series in the fourth quarter.
On first glance, the series has a very similar feel to Deadwood and maybe Carnivale. Will you be tuning in?
