Better Call Saul is currently shooting its second season in Albuquerque, New Mexico and AMC just released two first-look photos from the set .

In the first image, Saul (Bob Odenkirk) is back in his signature double-breasted suit, framed between two much bigger guys, their backs to the camera, looming before him.

Despite last season's finale — where viewers watched as a newly invigorated Saul finally took his destiny in his hands and busted out of that bleak parking lot for good — Saul still looks like he's still the underdog.

The second shot features series creators and executive producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould on set in one of the signature darkly paneled rooms with bad fluorescent lighting.

The Emmy-nominated show is exec produced by Gilligan, Gould, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. It stars Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, Jonathan Banks as Mike Erhmantraut, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin and Michael Mando as Nacho Varga.

Saul's second season is set to debut early next year on AMC.
