Here's a flashback for you.

CBS' 1990 series The Flash is now available to stream on CW Seed.

The original series ran for one season and starred John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash. Its 22-episode run was overseen by creators Danny Bilson and Paul De Meo and saw a number of notable guests, including Mark Hamill as the villain The Trickster.

Shipp currently appears on the CW's current The Flash as Henry Allen, the wrongfully imprisoned father to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). Other alums from CBS shortlived series have popped up on the new incarnation, including Hamill (The Trickster) and Amanda Pays (scientist Dr. Christina "Tina" McGee in both versions).

The original Flash is owned by Warner Bros. Television, which co-owns The CW, and was originally broadcast on CBS, which also co-owns CW.

Here's the link to the 94-minute pilot, which original aired on Sept. 20, 1990.
