The Flash's new villain isn't wasting any time coming after Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in season two.

DC Comics character Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd) is going to make his first move against Barry early on in the sophomore outing of The CW's hit Arrow spinoff series. But his first plan of attack is sending other metahumans after the scarlet speedster instead of taking him on personally.

Days after releasing the first official teaser for The Flash season two, the network debuted an extended trailer revealing Zoom's plans via Barry's interrogation of a captured metahuman.

"Why did you want to kill me?" Barry asks in voiceover.

"He promised he'd take me home if I killed you," the metahuman answers. "Zoom."

Soon Barry will find himself battling metahuman after metahuman as Zoom sends more and more powered people after him, leading original Flash Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) to arrive in Central City from his own universe to help Barry and the S.T.A.R. Labs team take on the "unstoppable demon" threatening their world.

The new footage also introduces Barry's new love interest Patty Spivot (One Tree Hill alum Shantel VanSanten), who joins the fight against the metahumans alongside Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and the police, as well as Central City's "Flash Day," aka a whole day dedicated to the scarlet speedster who keeps saving the city, and a sweet Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry moment that shows she isn't holding Eddie's (Rick Cosnett) tragic death against Barry.
