With a reboot of In Living Color in the works, Fox has decided it no longer needs Affion Crockett's In the Flow.

The network on Tuesday officially canceled sketch comedy series In the Flow With Affion Crockett after airing the six episodes it ordered of the half-hour project hosted by comedian Crockett and executive produced by Jamie Foxx

After being picked up straight to series last year and eyed as a midseason replacement in September 2010, Fox pushed its premiere from June and set an hourlong installment to premiere August.

Despite a pedigree that included Arrested Development's Mitch Hurwitz as well as Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men), the Sunday night series never caught on after completing its run in September.

Featuring guests including Snoop Dogg, Glee's Harry Shum Jr. and a number of other entertainers, the series was in the vein of the network's In Living Color.

The news comes mere days after Fox picked up two half-hour specials based on its 1990s hit In Living Color, with host Keenen Ivory Wayans producing.
