Fox Sets Female Lead for Geoff Stults Comedy 'Enlisted'
Angelique Cabral will play a sergeant in the single-camera vehicle from "Cougar Town's" Kevin Biegel.
Another B---- from Apartment 23 has landed a pilot.
Angelique Cabral is set to play the female lead in Fox's Geoff Stults comedy pilot Enlisted, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The half-hour entry, which hails from Cougar Town co-creator Kevin Biegel, follows three very different brothers working together in the Army at a small base in northern Florida.

Cabral, who played June's nemesis on ABC's Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 earlier this season, will portray Jill Perez, a confident, funny and ballsy sergeant at the Army base. She's beloved by her soldiers and heads a unit in the Rear Detachment. She's the opposite of a neurotic mess and claims her unit is full of bright and dedicated soldiers -- and that everyone else's are comprised of screw-ups.
Stults is set to play Sgt. Pete Waits, a natural leader who acts like a kid playing grown-up. Having been sent back to the U.S. after decking a superior officer in Afghanistan, Waits is reassigned to the base in Florida, where he’s tasked with leading the notoriously slacker-like Rear Detachment (soldiers whose days consist of washing tanks and getting high).

The actress, repped by Pakula/King & Associates and Karen Forman Management, also appears in Lifetime's Marc Cherry drama Devious Maids. Her credits also include Happy Endings, Free Agents and arcs on All My Children and One Life to Live.
She joins Keith David in the 20th Century Television single-camera effort, to which Men of a Certain Age's Mike Royce is attached as an executive producer.
