Fox Picks Up Another Reality Show From Gordon Ramsay, 'Hotel Hell'
In the vein of Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay will help turn around struggling hotels in his fourth series for the network.
It's official: Fox has picked up another reality show from Gordon Ramsay, Hotel Hell, which is in the vein of his Kitchen Nightmares.
In the series, Ramsay and a team of hospitality experts will travel around the U.S. to turn around struggling hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts. They'll also expose dirty rooms, moldy bathrooms and incompetent staffers.
“Gordon is amazing to work with and no matter what the premise, he delivers every time,” says Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “With an unprecedented three shows already on the air, Gordon is an incredible television success, and we’re really thrilled to put him through Hotel Hell on Fox.”
Adds Ramsay: "These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster. It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test.”
“We’re thrilled to be working with FOX on this exciting new format, taking Gordon’s expertise and applying it to one of the toughest business environments in the world,” adds Adeline Ramage Rooney, VP programs and development at One Potato Two Potato.
Hotel Hell (working title) is produced by Ramsay's One Potato Two Potato Inc. (part of the All3Media group). Ramsay, Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler serve as executive producers.
In addition to Hotel Hell and Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay also stars in Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef for Fox.
