Fox Renews Gordon Ramsay's 'Hell's Kitchen' for Two More Seasons
Entering its 10th outing in May, the veteran culinary competition will be back for 11th and 12th runs down the line.
Fox and Gordon Ramsay's courtship shows no signs of slowing. The network said Thursday that the British chef's original U.S. series, Hell's Kitchen, has received a pickup for an additional two seasons.
With a 10th season of Hell's Kitchen bowing May 29, this will bring the run of Ramsay's series to 12 seasons by the time it completes its current order. The news comes after the recent renewal of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and the pickup for new original series Hotel Hell. The fourth Ramsay series, MasterChef, enters its third season on Fox this summer.
Airing in the summer, Hell's Kitchen regularly dominates competition among adults 18-49, hitting ratings highs in 2011 of a 2.9 in the demo. For the upcoming run of Hell's Kitchen, the series will expand to two nights, airing Mondays and Tuesdays starting June 4.
Hell's Kitchen, which premiered in 2005, is produced by ITV Studios America with A. Smith & Co. Productions. Ramsay, Arthur Smith and Kent Weed serve as executive producers.
