'The Franchise': Giants Closer Brian Wilson Takes You Into the Dugout (Video)

The Showtime docu-series takes an inside look at the World Series champions.

It takes a lot to be a closer in baseball: a blazing hot fastball with pinpoint precision, a mental and physical toughness as well as the ability to carry the weight of the game in your hands. Having a big personality certainly helps, which is the case for San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson.

In a new clip for The Franchise, Showtime’s docu-series revolving around the 2010 World Series Champions, Wilson -- aka “The Beard” -- explains the meaning of “Got Heeeem.”

The series, from MLB Productions, will look at the personal and professional lives of players including Wilson, Tim Linsecum, Pablo Sandoval and Buster Posey and gets the inside pitch from manager Bruce Bochy and GM Brian Sabean.

So what does “Got Heeeem” mean? Is it trash talking or a strike-out? Or is it just Wilson goofing around? Find out in the clip below.

The Franchise premieres Wednesday, July 13 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
