This marks the first time that the NBC series will be available on a streaming service.

The comedy, from Warner Bros. Television, has been a syndication staple on networks including The Hub, TV Land and TBS, with Ross, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Monica and Phoebe likely on TV at all hours of the day across the globe.

The Netflix deal comes as Friends is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a Central Perk pop-up coffee shop in New York.
