'Fringe' Star Heads to 'Scandal' in Top-Secret Role
Jasika Nicole will guest star in the 19th episode of the ABC drama.
Scandal is adding a Fringe star to the mix.
Jasika Nicole, who played Astrid for five seasons on Fox's cult drama, will head to the ABC drama in the 19th episode of the second season, Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes revealed late Wednesday.
"We have Jasika Nicole (Fringe's Astrid) guest starring on ep 219 of @ScandalABC. Which makes me go totally fan-girl with excitement!" she tweeted to her 306,000-plus Twitter followers.

Details on Nicole's top-secret role are being kept close to the vest, but are said to be "very surprising."
Her casting comes one month after Fringe co-star John Noble was cast in a guest-starring role on the March 24 episode of CBS' The Good Wife.
Scandal returns March 21 on ABC.
