Discovery's 'Frozen Planet' Nature Series, Bravo's 'Tabatha Takes Over' Set Premiere Dates
Both cable television shows will launch in the new year.
Two cable networks solidified premiere dates for upcoming television series.
Discovery Channel's seven-part series Frozen Planet from the team behind Planet Earth will launch Sunday, March 18, 2012 with a two-hour event from 8-10 p.m. Following the premiere, the series will air on Sundays at 8 p.m.
The Discovery Channel/BBC co-production will be narrated by Alec Baldwin.
Frozen Planet will provide a portrait of Earth's polar regions. The seventh episode, hosted by British naturalist David Attenborough, will investigate what rising temperatures will mean for the people and wildlife who live in the most extreme and remote regions of the planet.
Bravo's newly titled Tabatha Coffey makeover series Tabatha Takes Over will premiere its new season Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 10 p.m.
In the new season, Coffey will help struggling salons, a gay dance club, a yogurt shop, a beauty school, a bed and breakfast and a doggy day care right the ship. In the premiere, Coffey will guide Jungle Red salon in Minneapolis, MN where the owner is more interested in acting like a teenager than a boss.
