So, the White Walkers have arrived. Now what?

That's one of the questions we're asking in the latest episode of the Game of Thrones Deep Dive podcast on Post Show Recaps, a collaboration with The Hollywood Reporter. In the episode, hosts Rob Cesternino (of Rob Has a Podcast and Survivor fame) and THR's resident Game of Thrones expert Josh Wigler (that's me!) discuss the possibilities about what we're going to see when the next new episode of the HBO series rolls around — an episode that might be well more than a year away.

Given how the season seven finale played out, it's reasonable to expect immediate and total destruction when Thrones returns. The Night King and his army have blown a huge hole through the Wall, and are marching south into the Seven Kingdoms. The next and most obvious pit stop: Winterfell, the ancestral home of House Stark for thousands and thousands of years. If Viserion was able to make quick work of the magical barrier protecting the realms of men from the nightmares beyond, just imagine how much damage he could cause when unleashed upon Winterfell. It's painful to consider, but the very first hour of the show's final season should include the evisceration of the most iconic location in Westeros — and if it doesn't, there had better be a good explanation.

Other topics covered on the podcast include:

• The massive meet-up at the Dragonpit

The awkward reveal of Jon Snow's true name

• Why Samwell Tarly didn't give Gilly proper credit for the Jon reveal

• What's next for Littlefinger, if there even is a next

• Whether or not Tormund and Beric died in the Wall's fall

• And more!
