After months of teases for the third season of Game of Thrones, the HBO drama has gifted the Internet with the first proper trailer for the upcoming return.

The one-minute spot touches on all of the key characters -- and while Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) and Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) may get the most exciting voiceovers, it's Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) who seems to steal the show. After two seasons on the outs, the Khaleesi has a formidable army and maturing dragons.
Season three introduces the surviving characters with a slew of newcomers including the "King Beyond the Wall" Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds), Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg), Brynden “The Blackfish” Tully (Clive Russell) and Jojen and Meera Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Ellie Kendrick).
Game of Thrones returns March 31 at 9 p.m. Watch the trailer below.
