"The Targaryen cannot be trusted."

Leave it to Yohn Royce (Rupert Nicholas Vansittart) of all people to have the line that kicks off the first official look at the second episode of Game of Thrones' season seven. The preview for next week's installment, called "Stormborn," sees the Knight of the Vale speaking those words of warning toward Jon Snow (Kit Harington), the newly minted King in the North, and it's easy to see how such an exchange could come about: Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) currently resides in Dragonstone, which sits atop a mother load of dragonglass, which will be immeasurably valuable to Jon's cause against the White Walkers. Not hard to see why Jon would want to pay the Dragon Queen a visit, trust issues notwithstanding.

Even if Jon convinces his allies to make contact with House Targaryen, Dany has more pressing business to attend to: Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), who warns her gathered court about the new threat facing Westeros. "The Mad King's daughter will destroy the realm," says the Mad Queen. Not far away, Cersei's new rival begins putting wheels of her own in motion, entertaining one very enticing pitch from Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan).

"We have an army, a fleet and three dragons," Yara tells Dany. "We should hit King's Landing now."

It's not surprising why Yara wants to strike the heart of Westeros. Dragonstone and King's Landing are in close proximity to one another, which means tensions between the two fronts could more than boil over as soon as next week's episode. If Yara sail forth for King's Landing, expect her to run into Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbaek) and his own fleet — but not before taking time to kiss Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma). Watch that moment and more in the video below.
