It took six seasons and change for Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) to finally meet, and one simple photo proves the wait was well worth it.

After their initial meeting in "The Queen's Justice," the two Game of Thrones power players remain very much in each other's lives as they stand strong together in the newest glimpse at "The Spoils of War," the fourth episode of season seven of HBO's hit drama. And it's not just Jon and Dany together, either. As seen in the image above, we're looking at six of the world of ice and fire's mightiest heroes assembled in the same frame: the Mother of Dragons, the King in the North, the Hand of the Queen, the Onion Knight, the Spider and ... well, Missandei of Naath definitely has a great ring to it, but perhaps we can work on a nickname between now and the end of the show.

In any event, this single image stands as a testament to where we are on Thrones right now: moving forward, faster and faster with every episode, toward the finish line, with all of the most important players weaving into each other's lives at an alarming rate. It's hard to imagine that there's only a handful of episodes left in this series, let alone this season, but if it means more veritable Game of Thrones rock band album art like this one, then we're happy to pay the iron price.

Check out the rest of the new photos for "The Spoils of War," which includes Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) joining the Dragonstone party (though something tells us his welcome won't be so warm), the return of Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) as a dynamic duo (to borrow a phrase from another comic book publisher) and a very pensive Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in the godswood of Winterfell.
