'Gene Simmons Family Jewels' Season Finale Hits Series High
Tuesday’s closer was the most-watched episode ever, drawing 3 million viewers.
Tuesday night’s sixth season finale of A&E’s Gene Simmons Family Jewels, with the former KISS member proposing to longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed, drew a series high.
The episode became the show’s most-watched telecast of all-time with 3 million viewers and in the ad-coveted adults 18-49 (1.7 million) and 25-54 demographics (1.9 million).
With the help of Family Jewels, A&E was the No. 1 cable network in 25-54 at 10 p.m. For the season, the series averaged 1.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched season for the franchise. Compared to Season 5, Family Jewels improved double digits in all categories.
Family Jewels, produced by Thinkfactory Media and the Gene Simmons Company, returns Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 10 p.m.
