Fox continues to gear up for the fall launch of its Marvel mutant drama The Gifted.

The network has released the key art for the forthcoming series, and The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive first look.

The Gifted revolves around a suburban couple (Amy Acker and Stephen Moyer) whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children (Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White) possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The new art for the series, as seen below, once again puts the emphasis on family as the Strucker family kicks into high gear. "Family is the ultimate power," the tagline reads.

The reveal comes just days before the drama heads to Comic-Con for the first time. In addition to a panel in Ballroom 20 on Friday (3:45-4:45 p.m.), The Gifted will have a major presence at the convention. Fox will host an activation where attendees can get their genes tested to if they are also a mutant in addition to extensive physical marketing for the series in the form of wallscapes and trolley posters in downtown San Diego.

The Gifted marks Fox's first Marvel series, and joins fellow comics-inspired series Gotham and Lucifer as Marvel continues to aggressively expand its original series slate. In addition to its five Netflix series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and the upcoming Defenders mini) as well as ABC's Agents of SHIELD, the company has five new series getting ready to debut including The Gifted, Inhumans on ABC, Cloak and Dagger and New Warriors on Freeform and Runaways on Hulu.

Matt Nix (Burn Notice) wrote the pilot and will serve as showrunner. He will exec produce with X-Men director Bryan Singer, who also directed The Gifted pilot, X-Men: Days of Future Past producer Simon Kinberg, Marvel Television's Jeph Loeb, Lauren Shuler Donner and Jim Chory. The series hails from 20th Century Fox Television.

The Gifted premieres Monday, Oct. 2 on Fox.
