'Girls' Season 2 Trailer: Life Is Never Getting Any Better for Hannah (Video)
The same can not be said of her ex-boyfriend Adam, who opens the first glimpse at the sophomore run with an awkward and musical profession of love.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) is in much better standing than she was during the first season of Girls.
The first official trailer for the sophomore season of the HBO comedy finds its central character fending off the advances of Patrick Wilson, dealing with lovesick ex-boyfriend Adam (Adam Driver) and being reminded of this enviable status by Jessa (Jemima Kirke).
"You should look around yourself right now, Hannah," she says. "Life is never going to get any better than this for you."
The same cannot be said for Adam. His quirks seem to be manifesting in stalking in the beginning of the season. And Marnie (Allison Williams) is also something of a lost lamb, though she does get a fling with the long-absent Booth (Jorma Taccone).
Girls returns Jan. 13. Watch the full trailer below.
