The "E! News" anchor and red-carpet fixture will stay on through at least April 2016.
Giuliana Rancic is staying put at E!
The longtime face of the network, with five series currently in rotation, has signed a new overall deal that will keep her there through April 2016.
“Giuliana has been an important part of the E! family for 12 years now and we are thrilled to extend her overall deal with the network,” said president of network strategy and E! News Cyndi McClellan. “Giuliana brings not only a wealth of experience to the air, but also a fun, relatable and candid energy that makes her a fan favorite amongst E! viewers and incredibly popular across the entertainment community.”
On top of her duties as anchor and managing editor of E! News, Rancic also serves as co-host of Fashion Police, shoulders much of the cable net's awards coverage on Live From the Red Carpet, hosts interview series Beyond Candid With Giuliana and stars in reality vehicle Giuliana & Bill with husband Bill Rancic. (The latter moved over from corporate sibling Style Network when it transitioned into Esquire in 2013.)
“This is an incredibly exciting time in my life,” said Rancic. “I'm thrilled and blessed to be able to pursue all of my passions while continuing on at E!, my home away from home. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!”
Re-upping with Rancic comes at a time of potential talent changes for E!'s flagship red-carpet coverage. Longtime presence Ryan Seacrest has yet to make a pact to stay on at the NBCUniversal network, where he's co-hosted coverage since 2006, though it's looking likely that he will sign to stay on for another year.
