During a conference call with reporters Monday, Fox Entertainment topper Kevin Reilly revealed that Glee's fourth season will revolve around a handful of graduating seniors and be set at a performing arts school in New York. The series will continue to be set at McKinley High in Ohio and feature a slate of new characters to be announced in the coming weeks.

Joining for Season 4 include Sex and the City's Parker and Hudson, with the latter set for six episodes in the fall and the former landing a multiepisode stint as well.
"Glee is really positioned for a strong year," Reilly said on the conference call, where he touted the Ryan Murphy-Brad Falchuk series' new time slot at 9 p.m. Thursdays.
Details on Parker and Hudson's characters were not available. They join a growing list of notable guest stars that has included Ricky Martin, Idina Menzel and Gwyneth Paltrow, among others.
STORY: 'Glee' Spinoff Officially Dead
The show-within-a-show comes months after Reilly formally announced that Glee's planned New York-set spinoff would not come to pass. The show-within-a-show format had been widely speculated and likely will feature returning cast members Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith, whose characters have all been headed down that path.
