"I'm proud to say, I'm going on tour this Summer!!! Full band. New music. Old music. Let's do this," he wrote of the Listen Up tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 27, with a special presale starting at 10 a.m. April 25 for Criss' Facebook fans at Facebook.com/DarrenCriss. VIP packages will be available at adventuresinwonderland.com and general tickets available at Ticketmaster.

"I couldn't think of a better way to spend the summer than being on the road and doing live shows,” Criss said in a statement announcing the tour. "I wanted to do something bigger than what I've done before -- more cities and new music. It's a real opportunity for me to connect with all the people who’ve supported me through the years as well as a chance to get new folks excited. It's gonna be a party for everyone!”

Criss will preview songs from his forthcoming album and perform tunes from his 2009 self-released EP Human. Singer-songwriter Theo Katzman will open on select dates. The Listen Up tour will kick off May 29 in Criss' hometown of San Francicso and run through June 30, wrapping in Silver Spring, Md.
