'Go On': Ryan Concocts Outrageous Bet During Post-Breakup Blues (Exclusive Video)
In a first look at Tuesday's episode, the sportscaster -- played by Matthew Perry -- reverts to old habits.
It's not easy moving on from a breakup.
That's what Ryan King (Matthew Perry) learns in the March 5 episode of NBC's Go On. Still pained from his unsuccessful romance with Simone (Piper Perabo), the sportscaster falls back into his old gambling habit even though group therapist Lauren (Laura Benanti) warns him against it. When he receives a life insurance check from his deceased wife Janie, it's more than he can handle.
In a scene exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter from the episode, "Double Down," Ryan recruits some of his therapy group members in one of his crazy bets he makes up to keep him sane -- and he's targeting Owen (Tyler James Williams). His latest contest has to do with lyrics from the song "Chantilly Lace."
Who will come out on top?
Go On airs at 9 p.m. Tuesdays on NBC.
