Good Girls Revolt breakout Genevieve Angelson has lined up her next role.

The actress, who fielded multiple offers this pilot season, has been tapped to star in NBC comedy Happy Peppers, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

From Will and Grace co-creator Max Mutchnick, Happy Peppers revolves around an adult brother and sister who wind up living together for the first time since they were kids after one of them suffers a big loss. They become each other's wingmen, shoulders to cry on, best friends and punching bags as they navigate love, loss and work while helping to get each other "un-stuck."

Angelson will star as Heather, who, after dropping out of grad school and bouncing from bad relationship to worse, is still trying to find herself. Right now she finds herself on the couch of her best friend/brother, Henry (currently uncast). He's the one stable thing in her life, and right now he needs her, which is good — and bad — for both of them.
Mutchnick and Jeff Astrof will pen the script and executive produce the Warner Bros. Television multicamera comedy.

Repped by UTA and Suskin Management, Angelson starred on Amazon's short-lived 1960s drama Good Girls Revolt. The critically praised show was unceremoniously canceled in December, barely a month after its debut. The feminist-themed drama was shopped to other networks, but ultimately producers Sony Pictures Television could not find a new home for the series.
