'Grey's Anatomy' Enlists Summer Glau
The "Firefly" favorite will guest star in an upcoming episode of the ABC medical drama.
Fresh off an episode that featured two high-profile guest stars in Peri Gilpin and Nia Vardalos, Grey's Anatomy is admitting Summer Glau to Seattle Grace.
The Firefly and Dollhouse fan favorite will guest star in a February episode of the ABC medical drama from creator Shonda Rhimes, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Rhimes broke the casting news Monday on Twitter, exclaiming, "Love table read days! We have Summer Glau as a guest star!"
It's unclear what role Glau will play. The actress, whose recent work includes a guest turn on CBS' The Big Bang Theory, NBC's short-lived super hero drama The Cape and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is repped by UTA and the Schiff Co.

Gilpin and Vardalos played bickering sisters last week and continue Grey's track record of attracting strong guest stars. Previous guest stars have included Mandy Moore, Kyle Chandler and, more recently, Scott Foley and Debbie Allen.
