'Happily Divorced': Ian Ziering to Guest Star (Exclusive)

While Happily Divorced won’t premiere for another week and a half, the TV Land comedy starring Fran Drescher has already lined up a guest star: Ian Ziering.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210, star will play Robert, a handsome and sensitive man who leads a support group for men and women whose spouses have come out of the closet.

In the series, Drescher plays Fran, a Los Angeles florist who re-enters the dating world after finding out that her husband of 18 years (John Michael Higgins) is gay.

Ziering’s character will welcome Fran to the support group after she vents her feelings. Fran also has a bit of a crush on Robert.

Producers are said to be high on Ziering and open to having him reprise the role beyond the one episode guest stint.

Happily Divorced premieres June 15 at 10:30 p.m., following Hot in Cleveland.

Ziering is repped by Rebel Entertainment Partners and McGowan Management.
