Fresh Off the Boat can't get enough of Melrose Place.

The ABC comedy has enlisted longtime star Heather Locklear for an upcoming episode, with fellow series alum Courtney Thorne Smith set to return.

Locklear will play Sarah, the strong-willed and formidable ex-wife of Marvin (Ray Wise). She blames Honey (Chelsea Crisp) for the disintegration of their marriage. Sarah works at a glove counter at a department store and is a disc jockey at the Radisson. She is set to appear in the 13th episode of the third season, titled "The Gloves Are Off," which will be directed by Fred Savage.

The episode, tentatively slated to air in February, brings Savage back to 20th TV, which produces Fresh Off the Boat and also produced The Grinder, on which Savage starred opposite Rob Lowe. Savage signed an overall deal with 20th TV in July shortly after The Grinder was not picked up for a second season. In addition to his acting roles, Savage has built a prolific directing career, helming episodes of Modern Family, The Goldbergs and Casual, among many others.

Meanwhile, Locklear's former co-star Thorne Smith will reprise her role as Ann in the following episode, titled "Neighbors With Attitude." She first appeared on the comedy in a season two homage to Melrose Place, which ran from 1992-'97. (Fresh Off the Boat is set in the '90s).

Locklear, whose other recent credits include Tyler Perry's TLC series Too Close to Home and Franklin & Bash, is repped by APA and Edelstein Laird.

Fresh Off the Boat airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
