'Homeland': Showtime Series Adds 'General Hospital' Regular (Exclusive)
Brianna Brown lands guest starring role as a former Miss Ohio in the upcoming CIA thriller.
Former General Hospital regular Brianna Brown has joined the cast of Showtime's Homeland.
The actress has booked a guest starring and possible recurring role on the CIA drama starring Claire Danes as an agent investigating the circumstances involving the rescue of a U.S. soldier (Damian Lewis) missing in Iraq and presumed dead.
Mandy Patinkin co-stars as a veteran CIA division chief and her superior officer. The two begin to suspect the soldiers’ reappearance is part of an Al Qaeda plot and that he may be colluding to perpetrate an attack on U.S. soil.

Brown will play Lynne Reed, a statuesque blonde, crowned Miss Ohio in 2009, who spent two years in the harem of Prince Farid Bin Abbud and who now works as his procurer, using her looks and smarts as commerce. Her character does not view herself as a prostitute but as someone who is setting herself up for a secure life.
Brown played troublemaker Dr. Lisa Niles on ABC's General Hospital for 190 episodes. Her farewell episode airs this week with her character said to literally be going down, guns blazing.
What Katie Couric's New Show Means for 'General Hospital'
Repped by Pakula/King & Associates and John Carrabino Management, Brown also has guest starred on Criminal Minds and The Closer, for which she also played a high-end prostitute. She made her acting debut in the Judd Apatow pilot of NBC's Freaks and Geeks, and has appeared in several of the writer-producer's films, including The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up.
