'Ice Age' Special, 'Glee,' 'New Girl' Among Fox Holiday Offerings

New Thanksgiving, Christmas episodes set for series including "Family Guy," "Raising Hope."

Fox is already feeling the holiday spirit. 

The network on Wednesday announced plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas-themed episodes of shows ranging from its Zooey Deschanel comedy New Girl to musical dramedy Glee, while also setting plans for primetime on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving episodes begin Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. with New Girl and Raising Hope and continue Nov. 20 with The Cleveland Show's new Turkey Day episode featuring guest star Will Arnett at 7:30 p.m., followed by Family Guy, which will see Joes formerly MIA son Kevin (voiced by Scott Grimes) return from Iraq.

Thanksgiving primetime specials include Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas airing at 8 p.m., followed by Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown from 8:30-9:30 p.m. and a repeat of The Simpsons holiday episode.

December specials include a night of Animation Domination Christmas fare beginning Dec. 11 with new episodes of The Cleveland Show at 7:30 p.m., followed by The Simpsons, Allen Gregory (season finale), Family Guy and American Dad.

On Dec. 13, Fox will offer all-new holiday episodes of Glee, with the McKinley High glee club in the holiday spirit and ready to ring in the New Year starting the night at 8 p.m., followed by festive episodes of New Girl andRaising Hope.

The network will count down the final moments of 2011 with New Year's Eve Live '11 from 11 p.m.-12:30 a.m., featuring the year's chart-topping musical guests.
