'Jackass'' Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera Attend Ryan Dunn's Memorial Service
The controversial Westboro Baptist Church is expected to picket the funeral this week.
Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera attended a private memorial service for their Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn in West Chester, Penn. on Wednesday.
A larger funeral will be held later this week, CNN reports. Members of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church are expected to picket.
Funeral director Joseph DellaVecchia says that police will be on hand to prevent any issues.
"We can't stop someone from coming to a public funeral, but this is private, and the police have everything under control," he says.
Dunn and his passenger, Jackass production assistant Zachary Hartwell, were killed Monday morning. According to West Goshen police, Dunn was driving at least 130 miles an hour and his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit when he lost control of his Porsche, smashed into a tree and the car burst into flames.
Margera broke down while visiting the crash site earlier this week.
"I've never lost anybody I care about; he's my best friend," Margera told Philadelphia's Fox affiliate through tears.
But he made an eerily prescient prediction Dunn would die in a car accident in 2006.
"He's gonna eat it one of these times [in a car accident]," he said on DVD commentary for season 5 of Jackass.
