Jennifer Hudson stopped by Monday's Late Late Show to sing "some of the hottest public domain songs around" with James Corden.

The musician, currently in The Color Purple on Broadway, put an upbeat update on "Skip to My Lou," "Old Macdonald Had a Farm" and "London Bridge."

"I like to take a bath, light some candles and skip to my lou," she joked. "Don't it feel like a public domain party, y'all?"

When Hudson started getting excited, she briefly launched into Frozen's "Let It Go" before Corden stopped her. "No, we do not let it go! We cannot do that! That is definitely not public domain, that is insanely expensive."

They instead joined forces for a gospel rendition of "If You're Happy and You Know It."
