'Saturday Night Live' Ratings Up With Jeremy Renner
Jeremy Renner took the reins for the first time on Saturday Night Live, showing off his singing abilities, so how did the late-night sketch show do in the ratings?
It isn't exactly headline-grabbing, but the Avengers and Bourne Legacy star's turn improved a tenth from Anne Hathaway's hosting stint the revious week by averaging a 5.1 rating in metered-market households.
Renner's episode was also SNL's second-highest overnights of the season, behind only Bruno Mars' Oct. 20 gig which averaged a 5.4.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, last night's SNL -- which featured a cameo by Gov. Chris Christie and musical performances by Maroon 5, including an Adam Levine appearance in "The Stand Off" short -- averaged a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49, a small improvement from last week as well.
It was announced during the broadcast that Django Unchained's Jamie Foxx will host Dec. 8 with musical guest Ne-Yo. Foxx hosted SNL in 2000.
